Tip sheet for Margos Mixtures Sea Salt Treatment and other products
- Use the sea shell to stir and to use as a scoop. The oil will naturally rise to the
top, so make sure to stir it every time to keep it consistent.
- Use with your bare hands (not with an exfoliating loofah mitt-it will only get lost
in the mitt).
- Use on dry skin. The drier the skin is, the better exfoliation you will get, although,
it is fine to use on damp skin, especially if you have sensitive skin. The salts will
just melt a little faster and its not so abrasive.
- Because of the pure jojoba oil in the mixture, it is WONDERFUL to use on your face if your skin is not too sensitive, or if you
have Rosacea or a medical skin condition. Naturally, be extra careful not to get it
around or in your eyes.
- Most people find both of the fragrances to be appealing to both men and women. People think the Sun & Sea fragrance smells fresh, clean and kind of beachy, and the Earth & Sky scent to be fresh, but earthy and warm.
- Because it appeals to both men and women, men LOVE to scrub this on their face before they shave. They scrub it on, rinse it off, and shave right away with their razor. They get a longer lasting, smoother and closer shave. This is also to be true of women before they shave their legs.
- You can use the Sea Salt after your shower. Just pat yourself fairly dry (it doesnt
have to be totally dry) and rub a small scoopful with bare hands in circular motion
on each part of your body, and then rinse off just enough to dissolve the salt and
leave the oil on there to absorb in.
- Or, you can do it with your bath. Let your tub fill up about 6 to 8 inches, and then
step in it and stay standing. Buff the salts on dry skin from ankles all the way up, letting the
excess salt fall into the tub, and then sink down, and let all of the salts
dissolve. This turns it into a hydrotherapy detoxifying treatment. These are 2
treatments in 1 that you would get at a spa for around $100.00 for both
treatments.
- Unless you have complete alligator skin, you dont need a separate moisturizer
after using the Sea Salt Exfoliating Treatment when you get out of the bath or
shower. The jojoba oil will give you all the hydration you need!
- The Shower Gel and the Body Souffle were developed for the days that you
dont do the exfoliator to keep your skin in tip top condition.
- The Body Souffle is an aloe vera based extremely emollient moisturizer that is
enriched with Jojoba Oil, Chamomile, Ginseng , and Grapeseed extract.
- It is recommended to use the Sea Salt 1 to 2 times a week--unless you would like
to keep it really special, then maybe only once every couple of weeks, during your
private spa time.
- You can make it an even more intense detoxifying treatment if you wanted to add
some more salts to your bath; for example: (Epsom, mineral, sea salts, or Dead Sea Salts)
- It is great before tanning in the sun, or before the use of a self-tanner. Because
of the fresh skin, just make sure you use a good sunscreen when you are out in
the sun.
- It is great on feet and on your hands for rough calluses and cuticles. Soak feet or
hands for 5-10 minutes in warm water. Take out. Let dry. Exfoliate. Rinse.
Many nail salons and spas use it in their pedicures and manicures.
Benefits in jojoba oil:
- The mixture is pure jojoba oil --pronounced (ho-ho-bah).
- Superior ability to penetrate skin-it penetrates to the deepest layers of the skin so
that each new layer of skin is soft and smooth.
- It also contains high levels of antioxidants that help the skin to combat free
radicals in the air that will breakdown your skin and cause it to age.
- Jojoba oil dissolves sebum, the oily substance in our skin that cause clogged
pores.
- Jojoba oil softens and smoothes the skin and is effective against wrinkles and
aging.
